DRAFT PRESS RELEASE People's National Congress Reform Congress Place, Sophia, Georgetown, Guyana February 21, 2006




As part of its outreach programme, the People's National Congress Reform donated a number of medical supplies and toiletries to the Administrator, Ms. Pauline Davis and staff of the Palms on February 21, 2006. The donations were handed over by Ms. Valda Forsythe, Member of the Washington DC PNCR group. Also present at the ceremony at which the handing over was made were the Leader of the PNCR, Mr. Robert Corbin MP, Mrs. Volda Lawrence MP, Director of the Human Services Department of the Party, and members of the Human Services Committee, Ms. Simone Blair, Mrs. Ann Greene and Mr. Clarence Charles.

The donations were made possible by the Alumni Association of Canada through the Jesus Christ of the Church of Latter Day Saints. Over the last year the PNCR has been making donations to a number of institutions such as the Archer’s Home, Uncle Eddie’s Home and Chase Indigent Home, among others.
