On September 4, 2006, PNCR Leader, Mr. Robert Corbin dispatched a letter of congratulations to Mr. Bharrat Jagdeo on his election as President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana. In his letter of congratulations, Mr. Corbin expressed the hope that many of the unimplemented Constitutional Reform matters and outstanding matters in agreements between himself and Mr. Jagdeo would be amicably resolved in the interest of all the people of Guyana during his second term in office.

Mr. Corbin also noted that his particular and immediate concern is the issue of shared/inclusive governance and expressed the hope that this will be a matter of priority on the President’s agenda.

Attached to this Press Release is the letter dated September 4, 2006 which Mr. Corbin dispatched to President Jagdeo.
