The National Congress of Women (NCW), the women’s arm of the People's National Congress Reform took its annual Children’s Christmas Party to the communities of the Hogstye/Lancaster District in Region 6.

Some 400 children were entertained and gifted at the Manchester Secondary School – the venue of the activity on Saturday, December 16, 2006.

National Chairperson of the NCW, Ms. Cheryl Sampson welcomed the children and invited Mrs. Carol Corbin to deliver greetings on behalf of the Leader of the People's National Congress Reform, Mr. Robert Corbin, MP who was unavoidably absent.

Vice-Chairman of the PNCR, Mr. Basil Williams, MP, general Secretary, Mr. Oscar Clarke and Member of Parliament, Mr. Ernest Elliott joined the members of the National Executive of the NCW in serving the children and distributing the Christmas gifts.

The children sang carols, played musical chairs and danced to music provided.
