The People’s National Congress Reform greets the Muslim community as it comes to the end of a period of fasting, sacrifice and abstinence. The Party notes that this is a special day for all those Muslims who have faithfully observed the commands of God and an opportunity to rededicate themselves to spiritual growth and helping the less fortunate.

The PNCR shares the joy and rejoicing of the Muslim community which characterises this terminal point in the celebration of Ramadan. Equally, it offers its support as Muslims the world over engage in activities to enhance the Muslim faith and underscore its commitment in building and strengthening the human family.

The PNCR has no doubt that the example exhibited by the Muslim community both during Ramadan and at the end of this fasting period, will be internalized by other sections of the community and so lead to the further development of the spiritual bases of our society. In this the Party stands as one with the Muslim community in recognizing that the overall development of our society must have a spiritual core to guide its further maturing and progress.
