The Leader of the People’s National Congress Reform, Mr. Robert H.O. Corbin, MP, accompanied by members of the Central Executive Committee of the Party, will gather at the mausoleum at the Seven Ponds area of the Botanical Gardens, at 7:00 AM on Friday, February 20, 2004, to lay a floral tribute in remembrance of the 81st Birth Anniversary of the Founder Leader of the People’s National Congress and former President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, Mr. Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham, O.E., S.C. This event, which has been observed annually, since the death of the Founder Leader on August 6, 1985, will continue to be observed by the Party.

BURNHAM BIRTHDAY CONCERT

The Georgetown District of the People’s National Congress Reform will feature a number of artistes in its annual “Burnham Birthday” Concert on Sunday, February 22, 2004, at 5:00 PM, at City Hall, Avenue of the Republic. This tribute, in song, dance and poetry is held annually in remembrance of the birth anniversary of the Founder Leader of the People’s National Congress, Mr. Linden Forbes Sampson Burnham, O.E., S.C. Members of the public are invited to attend this concert.
