The People's National Congress Reform has commenced a series of activities aimed at interfacing with the public to explain the urgency which the party attaches to the need for a consensual decision on a new form of Governance for Guyana. A series of Public Meetings will commence this weekend with Party Leader, Mr. Robert H. O. Corbin, M.P., and Mr. Winston Murray, addressing a meeting on Saturday 3rd April, outside Palm Tree Cinema, Linden, at 18:00 hours (6:00 p.m.). Meetings will also be held on Sunday, April 4, 2004 at 18:00 hours (6:00 p.m.), at First Avenue, Bartica with Mr. Basil Williams, M.P. and Ms. Judith David, M.P. as the speakers and at Main and New Streets, New Amsterdam, Berbice, where Mr. Robert H. O. Corbin, M.P. and Dr. Max Hanoman, M.P. will be the speakers.

Meanwhile members of the Party’s leadership are involved in a programme of meet-the-people visits around Georgetown including specially targeted visits to market places on Saturday and Sunday, April 3rd and 4th, 2004.
